Make that move
It’s like de ja vu all over again.
It is so easy to get ‘stuck in a rut’ and love being there. Do you know how long it took me to start this blog? Way Toooo Long!
Wanna know why? Laziness and procrastination (loved my sleep), excuses (I needed an ‘editor’ to review my articles) and not prioritizing (busy doing nothing).
Now, lets talk about you! What is before you that requires you to make a move? Is it going out on a date with someone special, starting a new business or going back to school? Whatever it is, the longer you delay, the more you’ll be without it.
Listen to this song and while not necessarily Christian, there is some wisdom in the words.
Some of you have been walking round your proverbial ‘wall of Jericho’ for 20 years instead of 7 times. There are men or women you could have married, businesses you could have started but, for whatever reason, you never made it happen. Others now have, and are enjoying, what could have been yours.
You have not because You move not!
It’s time to blow your trumpet so your dream can come true. Do something now so you don’t die with your gifting and talent. Forgive that person who hurt or offended you. When I look back over my life, the things I regret most are the things I did not do. There can be nothing worse than being on your death bed and imagining what life could have been only if you had …… (you fill in the blanks)
Don’t let fear stop you from maximizing your life. Don’t hold back and let the good things in life pass you by. Don’t let a past mistake or experience paralyse you.
It’s time to ‘make that move’! Step out in faith.
