If God is for me …
Are you in God’s will and facing opposition?
Rest assured that God will ensure that His will comes to pass.
Why?
Because in All things
God works for the good of those who love Him,
those who have been called according to His purpose.
For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son,
And those He predestined, He also called;
those He called, He also justified;
those He justified, He also glorified.
And because of this,
if God is for us, who can be against us?
This is what I say to any obstacle that stands between me and God’s will,
If God is for me, who are you?
What’s your confession when you have issues and challenges?
Learn to speak to your challenges.
Make them realise they will not have dominion over you.
Your God is bigger than any problem and He has the solution.
You have to confess it, believe it and walk like an overcomer.
No one can do that for you.
Just remember, nothing can stand in the way.
Why?
because God will do what He says He will do.
If you need encouragement
Take heart and know He is for you.
Meditate on the words of this song and let them minister to you.
Be blessed.
The Inner Life
Are you struggling in certain areas of your life?
It happens to even the ‘best’ of us.
It’s important to acknowledge the situation you are facing
and ask God to restore you to where He wants you to be.
This song,
which you can sing as a prayer,
blessed me tremendously during moments of doubt and weariness.
If you are facing difficulties or backsliding in your faith
Prayerfully sing this song and let God minister to you
Be blessed
It Is Well
Crises, Troubles, Mishaps … is this ever going to stop?
Sometimes when ‘bad’ things happen to ‘good’ people it’s easy for one’s faith to be shaken. Many times, due to the personal nature, we magnify the situation and think all is lost.
I have found out that the best was to deal with such things is to 1) commit it into God’s hands and 2) put it in perspective. That’s why reading the Bible and listening to other people’s experiences are so important because you then find out your situation is not unique. What you thought was pretty bad, may be ’nothing’ compared to the trials and tribulations of others.
With this in mind, please spend a few minutes watching this video.
What trial are you facing right now? Is it more horrendous than what Horatio and Anna Spafford went through? Not trying to belittle your situation, but their story shows that good and inspiring things can come out of tragedy. Despite pain, and personal losses over a period of time, a song was written that has brought solace and peace to countless people over the years.
Let me ask you this; can any good come out of your situation? With God, YES! Because in Him brighter days are ahead. This tragic story, and that of Job, should encourage you and make you realise that with God’s help you can overcome any situation or loss … so long as you make Him your anchor.
Whatever it is you are going through, by faith you must believe ’It is well’! You must believe deep in your heart that ‘all things will work together for your good because you are called according to His purpose’.
God can be found in whatever you are going through … you just have to look for Him.
Believe this and act on it.

Staying Alive
Laughter is the best medicine.
People of faith ought to laugh more.

Dont Give Up
I just can’t take it anymore, this is just too much! Its too difficult and not worth continuing! I GIVE UP!
Ever felt that way about a situation? It doesn’t need to be a ‘big’ problem and could be anything from studying for an exam or trying to make your marriage work. Maybe you just started a business and the recession hit … you now think it was the biggest mistake ever and feel like throwing in the towel.
As a Christian, you can feel a lot worse and even betrayed, especially if you feel it was all God’s idea and He has somehow ’let you down’. You begin to doubt your faith and your ability to hear from God. You can also count on the ever present accuser to sow doubt and these nagging questions in your mind; ‘Did you really hear from God? Does God exist? and ‘If God exists, how could you have been so wrong’?
Giving up then becomes an option … but before you make that move, listen to this song.
Valley experiences can be difficult because when you look up, all you may see are mountains of ‘problems’. This is when you need Godly perspective because in trials it depends on what you look for and see AND whether you think the trials are there to ‘make you’ or ‘break you’.
Some will see these ‘problems’ as opportunities for growth … how about you?
David went through a lot, BEFORE and DURING the time he was king and yet, he was victorious because he saw God in his trials. What did he do to overcome?
1) he waited patiently
2) he searched for God, and
3) he worshipped God.
He overcame trials because whenever he ‘walked’ into a valley he knew God was with him … and guess what, God is with you too.
God will not give you more than you can bear because He has given you the grace to go through it. Don’t stop praying for that child or marriage. Don’t stop fighting that disease or let that situation defeat you.
Giving up is always the easiest option. Remember that weeping (pain, frustration, discouragement, failure) may endure for a night but joy (success, victory, release) comes in the morning.
Keep on keeping on and God will see you through and give you the victory in His own time.
Be blessed
‘Dry’ Seasons
The constant thing about seasons is that they always change.
Depending on where you live, you will experience either the Rainy and Dry season or Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
Our Christian walk also has seasons and there are times when we do not feel close to God. This can be magnified when we lose something important (e.g. job, money or a loved one). It’s like the goal posts shifted and God moved along with it. In times like this, the devil discourages and tries to stop you from praying to or praising God.
Dark times are when you need the light of God most and if you have difficulty praying, get into His presence with good worship music. If you are going through a dry spell, let this song minister to you.
Dry seasons are particularly tough because things do not easily flourish BUT they are times of preparation, strengthening and refocusing.
All I can say is NEVER stop praising God. Open your mouth and He will fill it with goodness. Shout to God with a voice of triumph. Paul and Silas praised their way out of prison and you will break out of your ‘prison’ through praise.
Create an atmosphere of praise, in and around you, and He will meet you at your point of need.
Be blessed
