Mind your own business
He who, passing by, stops to meddle with strife that is none of his business is like one who takes a dog by the ears. Proverbs 26
You don’t need to get involved in everyones’ business.
There are times when you need to ignore what you see and move on.
Sometimes it’s better to call the police rather than try and stop a fight or chase a thief.
Why?
Because when you take a ‘dog by its ears’ you are likely to get bitten … real bad.
So many a good samaritan has lost his or her life because they got involved when they shouldn’t have.
I am not suggesting that you never help
but
it’s always a judgement call.
Use wisdom before you meddle.
